About Me
Hi, my name is Katelyn, and I'm a junior at Duke University studying Mechanical Engineering with an Aerospace Engineering Certificate. Driven by a passion for all things aerospace, my interests span from aviation to space systems, with a particular focus on aerodynamics, structural design, and propulsion systems. I enjoy working on projects that challenge me to explore these areas while expanding my technical expertise and creativity. Over the past year, I’ve built a high-powered rocket with Duke AERO, developed a flight simulator with Duke Aviators, and conducted research on shock wave-boundary interactions as an NSF REU Research Fellow.
